Ah, what a way to start a trip!  Switzerland was our first and favorite stop.  We did four solid days of hiking in Switzerland, staying in the exact same room in the exact same hotel as we did in 2004.  Katie, Paul, and I seized the opportunity to run under a frigid waterfall, and we stumbled upon a festival in Interlaken where all of the townspeople were dressed in traditional clothing.  We bought Rachel a cowbell...a decision we would regret five minutes after giving it to her upon our return home.
